The route
The drive from Davis to SFO
SFO is about 80 miles from Davis, usually an hour and a half to just under two hours. Traffic builds from Vallejo to the Bay Bridge on weekday afternoons, so we set earlier pickups for evening flights.
We take I-80 west the whole way through Solano County, over the Carquinez Bridge, through the East Bay and across the Bay Bridge, then US-101 south to the airport.
